Past and Future

In the distant future, humanity has harnessed the ability to siphon hydrogen from our Sun, causing a cataclysmic and rapid cooling of the star's core. As it turns into a red giant, a group of zealots on Earth form a religion, claiming the salvation of humanity is at hand. The church, known as Salvus, quickly take power, forcibly preventing any attempts to save the planet. Yet, a small group of separatists discover a source of magic in ancient artifacts, fleeing into the past.
